SudokuMobileXtreme

The brain game that's sweeping the world, Sudoku, now can be played on your mobile phone or PC. Well...that's really nothing new, but with Dart, you can play Sudoku against the computer, or in multiplayer mode. Race against your friends to solve a puzzle. See their progress against you. Play against one, two, or even more opponents, the first one to solve the puzzle wins. As you win races and complete levels your status as a Sudoku player will increase. Your goal is to attain the player status of “Grand Master”.

And the cool thing is that the Dart version of the game lets you enjoy multiplayer games across different devices - even if those devices are totally different types of hardware.

Usage:

How to play Sudoku:
The object of the game is to fill each of the squares in the Sudoku board with the digits 1 through 9. Each horizontal row, vertical column and 3x3 grid may contain only one instance of each digit. Numbers in red have been filled in for you. Numbers in black are numbers you have entered.

Entering numbers:
To enter a number move the blinking cursor to any square by using your mouse or the left, right, up, down keys and then press a number key ‘1’ and ‘9’ to enter that number in the square. If you press ‘0’ the number in that square will be erased.

Starting a game:
If you started SudokuMobileXtreme you are the organizer. You can start games, add players and set the level. In order to start a game select ‘New Game’ from ‘Menu’. If you are connected to other players when you choose new game, a board will be sent to all players and the game will start at the level you selected.

Player Status:
You will be known as a high level Sudoku player as you win games by progressing through the player statuses “Grasshopper”, “Samurai”, “Ninja”, ” Sensei”, “Master” and finally “Grand Master”. In order to advance to a new status you must complete 10 boards that match your current status. If you complete boards at a higher level you will get 2 credits towards your status. If you play games below your level you will not get any credits towards your status. To see your current status and progress towards the next status look at the ranks popup from ‘Menu’.

Hints:
If you are playing in single player mode and you are stuck you can get up to 5 hints. To use a hint move to the square you want to reveal and select ‘Hint’ from ‘Menu’. If you use a hint you will not be given credit towards your player status for the game.

Making Notes As You Play:
You can make notes, or ‘pencil in’ numbers that may fit into a cell and numbers that do not fit in a cell. The notes take the form of a small colored square within the cell that your cursor is currently highlighting. To do this press the ‘#’ key to cycle through the different modes. The different modes are indicated by a change in color of the blinking cursor. Blue indicates you want to make notes on numbers that may fit. Red indicated numbers that do not fit. Pressing a number in one of these two modes will place a small square in the cell that corresponds to the number you pressed. The cell is divided into nine areas so, for example, pressing ‘1’ when the cursor is blue will put a little blue square in the top left of the cell. Pressing ‘5’ will place the square in the middle of the cell. If a note has already been placed in a cell press the number again to eliminate it. To eliminate all notes in a cell press ‘0’. If the cursor is black you will be entering numbers into the board as usual.
